The website, database, file storage, sign-in for the internal area and the technical logs are provided through Lovable Cloud, which is based on Supabase technology. We cannot guarantee that every processing step takes place exclusively within the EU; depending on the infrastructure and the sub-processors used, processing outside the EU/EEA is possible.

The following technical data may be recorded:

• IP address of the accessing device
• date and time of access
• URL requested and volume of data transferred
• referrer (previously visited page)
• browser, operating system and device information
• error and diagnostic data in the event of technical faults

This data is processed to deliver the website, to keep operation secure and stable, to prevent misuse, to fix errors and to produce aggregated project statistics (for example visitors, page views, visit duration, traffic source, device type, country and pages viewed). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning and traceable website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not run advertising tracking and do not build advertising profiles.

When you use the enquiry form or contact us directly, we process:

• the requested property and period (arrival and departure)
• number of adults, children and dogs
• first and last name, email address
• optionally your phone number, country and message
• preferred contact channel, language of the enquiry and the indicative price

If a reservation is made, we additionally process the data required for the contract, such as invoicing and payment details and the statutory guest registration data (including name, date of birth, nationality, identity document details and period of stay).

The purpose is to answer your enquiry, to prepare and perform the rental contract and to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) and, where statutory registration, tax and retention duties apply, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Handling your enquiry is not based on consent; the confirmation box in the form only records that you have read this privacy policy.

To send confirmations and notifications we use the Resend service operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA (privacy notice). Depending on the message, we transmit your name, email address, the subject and content of the message and delivery metadata (for example time, delivery status, technical identifiers).

This is exclusively transactional communication related to your enquiry or booking; we do not send newsletters or promotional email. Processing takes place in the USA and is safeguarded by appropriate measures, in particular a data processing agreement, the EU standard contractual clauses and – where the provider is certified – the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Ordinary email is received and stored, and our domain and mail services are provided, by Swizzonic AG, Badenerstrasse 47, 8004 Zurich, Switzerland (privacy notice). Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

Communication via WhatsApp only takes place if you click the WhatsApp link yourself or choose WhatsApp as your preferred contact channel and write to us. In that case the WhatsApp/Meta privacy terms apply in addition. At present no automated transfer of your data to a WhatsApp interface (API) is activated; our system only stores your preferred contact channel. Should this change, we will update this policy accordingly.

The map on this website is only loaded once you explicitly choose to load it. Only then does your browser connect to the Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.), which may receive your IP address, browser data and referrer. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by resetting this site's local storage in your browser settings.

The directions link opens Google Maps in a new window only after you click it. From that point Google's privacy policy applies.

We store two technical values in your browser's local storage:

• shh.locale – your chosen language
• shh.cookie-consent – your choice regarding external content

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Your data is only shared with service providers required to operate the website and handle your enquiry (hosting and database, email sending, domain and mail services). Depending on the provider, processing may take place outside the EU/EEA, in particular in Switzerland and the USA. Where necessary, such transfers are based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the EU standard contractual clauses together with supplementary safeguards. Data is never passed on for advertising purposes.

• Enquiries without a booking: deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact.
• Booking, payment and guest registration data: kept for the statutory periods.
• Technical logs: only as long as required for operation and security; at the platform provider Lovable generally up to 90 days according to its published information.
• On request we delete your data unless statutory retention duties prevent this.

For an enquiry we need at least the property, period, number of guests, your name and email address; without these we cannot process the enquiry. Phone number, country and message are voluntary. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
